The Steading Bed and Breakfast, situated in Fisherford, outside Inverurie, is a perfect place for holiday or short break accommodation.

Situated in the beautiful countryside of rural Aberdeenshire, it is not only exceptionally peaceful and scenic with its panoramic views but with the fresh country air you are guaranteed to have a relaxing stay.

The rooms which are offered within the steading are light, fresh and tastefully decorated with the option of either double or twin rooms which contain adequate storage facilties and television in each.

There is also a large lounge area for guests to relax in at there leisure.
This comprises of: a comfortably sitting area, tea/coffee facilities, TV/DVD/stereo and minstrels gallery.
A selection of home baking is also available in this area.

Access is also available to The Steading's beautiful gardens: walled, courtyard and lawn areas.
These areas are exceptionally beautiful and are ideal for some peace and quiet or somewhere to enjoy the sunshine.

Fisherford is a central travelling area for various tourist attractions such as: the castle and whisky trails, fisheries and other towns with their own tourist attractions and events.
Details of these can be found in the lounge area for guests to read at their own leisure.

Fisherford itself has local faciltiies such as The Fjord Inn, which provides high quality evening meals and also has a small bar with pool table.
There is also a small adventure playground two minutes walk from The Steading which would provide entertainment to any young guests.
Should guests wish to travel a little further afield, 5 minutes drive away is the Drum of Wartle which provides a small shop, petrol station, bar and restaurant.
The Steading was originally a derelict (barn) but was lovingly converted into the beautiful home that it is today in 1998.
The whole family was actively involved in this venture from the beginning, living on site, assisting the builders until the process was finally complete.
The beautiful gardens that surround The Steading were also built and landscaped from scratch and are an ongoing work of art.
